Use these instructions to learn how to transfer the code from one Marantec remote to another, change the code on the remote and replace the battery. These instructions cover the following Marantec M3 remotes:
The M3 Series of remotes along with the newer Digital Remote versions are 315MHz frequency and compatible with the Marantec M55, M4500, M4500e, M4700, M4700e, M4900, M4900e, Q7500, Q7700, Q7900, Synergy 260, Synergy 270, Synergy 280, Synergy 360, Synergy 370, Synergy 380, and Synergy Solo operators.

If you don't have any remotes for your garage door opener then you need to program one remote into the opener first.
