LiftMaster 8000 Series Opener Manuals
These LiftMaster 8000 Series openers mount on the ceiling with a rail. The manuals we have posted are for the 87504-267, 85870, 8165W / 8365W / 8587W / 8160W, and 8550. Drive type and horsepower vary by model (chain or belt, 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP). Wi-Fi / myQ is on the “W” models. All of these use a yellow Learn button and Security+ 2.0 remotes such as the 893MAX, 890MAX, and 878MAX keypad. Not every LiftMaster 8000 Series model or manual is shown here. We post the manuals we have. Older or uncommon units may not be listed.

Yellow Learn Button
8000 Series operators in this group use a yellow Learn button. On ceiling models it is on the motor head near the antenna. The photo shows the yellow button color (taken from an 8500).
