LiftMaster 1000 Series Opener Manuals

These LiftMaster 1000 Series openers mount on the ceiling with a rail. The manuals we have posted are for the 1355C / 1345C, 1280, 1265, and 1255R / 1245R. Horsepower is 1/4 HP, 1/3 HP, or 1/2 HP. Most are chain drive; the 1280 is a Formula 1 belt-drive unit. Learn button color is not the same on every model in this group. An 893MAX remote or 878MAX keypad will program to the Security+ units. Not every LiftMaster 1000 Series model or manual is shown here. We post the manuals we have. Older or uncommon units may not be listed.

Learn Button Color Varies

Many Security+ models in this group use an orange or red Learn button (390 MHz). Some later C-suffix units use a purple Learn button (315 MHz). Older 1100 Series units may have a green Learn button or code switches. Look at the button on the motor head before you buy a remote. We don’t sell opener circuit boards. They typically aren’t the issue when experiencing problems with the operator.
