L979M Raynor Wireless Keypad
The L979M is the current wireless keypad. It replaces the 878RGX. It uses the same radio as the LiftMaster L979M. It works with Raynor, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Craftsman openers that have a red / orange, purple, yellow, or white Learn button (about 1997 to current, including Security+ 2.0 and Security+ 3.0). It does not work with a green Learn button.
Compatibility
Compatible Raynor operators: Openers with a red/orange, purple, yellow, or white Learn button, about 1997 to current. Includes Security+ 390 MHz, Security+ 315 MHz, Security+ 2.0, and Security+ 3.0. Same radio as the LiftMaster L979M.
Replaces: 878RGX.
Not compatible: Green Learn / Billion Code openers (about 1993 to 1997). Use the L979U Universal Keypad for those openers.
Not every compatible opener is listed here.
