Raynor R-Series Opener Manuals
Raynor prints an R-Series model number on the back of the operator. The manuals we have posted are the R170 book and the R130 book. Use the R130 manual for R120 and R150 as well — those units share similar parts. Use the R170 manual for R160. The R160 used PEC-R3 safety sensors. Most R170 units used PEC-R4 sensors. Original R-Series parts are discontinued. Not every R-Series model or manual is shown here. We post the manuals we have. Older or uncommon units may not be listed.
Shared features
- Older ceiling-mount R-Series openers
- No color Learn button on the powerhead
- Radio was typically an add-on receiver
- Most original R-Series parts are discontinued
No Learn button on the operator
R-Series units did not use a color Learn button. Check the receiver or an old remote before you buy radio parts. Safety sensors matter too: PEC-R3 (3 wires on one eye, 2 on the other) can use the CR2154 pair. PEC-R4 (2 wires on each eye) has no current replacement. Email store@garagedoorzone.com if you are not sure which sensors you have.

Compatible remotes and parts
Most original R-Series parts are discontinued. These aftermarket parts still work on many units. Search all Raynor parts on the store: Shop Raynor Parts.
White Wall Push Button
Simple wired wall button. Same button we list for Flitestar.

CR2154 Safety Sensors
Aftermarket pair for PEC-R3 (R160 and some R170). Not for PEC-R4. Count the wires before you order.
Shop CR2154We don’t sell opener circuit boards. They typically aren’t the issue when experiencing problems with the operator. Go through the troubleshooting steps in the operator manual and if you still believe that you need a logic board, email store@garagedoorzone.com and we can point you to the correct part number.
