890RGX, 893RGX & 895MAX Remotes

These instructions cover the 890RGX keychain, 893RGX visor, and 895MAX remotes. They are the same radio as the LiftMaster 890MAX, 893MAX, and 895MAX. They work with Raynor, LiftMaster, and Chamberlain openers made since 1993 when the Learn button is green, red/orange, purple, or yellow. The 893RGX can run up to three doors, gates, or MyQ lights. Current replacements are the L993M (replaces 893RGX) and L932M (replaces 890RGX). Those newer remotes are not for green Learn openers.

Replaces these older Raynor remotes: 81RGD, 83RGD, 971RGD, 972RGD, 973RGD, 970RGD, 370RGD, 371RGD, and 373RGD. Same radio as the LiftMaster 81LM, 83LM, 971LM, 972LM, 973LM, 970LM, 370LM, 371LM, and 373LM.

Not every compatible opener or replacement remote is listed here. Current replacements for this family are the L993M (replaces 893RGX) and L932M (replaces 890RGX). Those newer remotes are not for green Learn openers.
