890MAX, 893MAX & 895MAX Remotes

These instructions cover the LiftMaster 890MAX keychain, 893MAX visor, and 895MAX remotes. GDZ’s existing support page lists them for LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears, and Raynor openers made since 1993 when the Learn button is green, red/orange, purple, or yellow. The 893MAX can run up to three doors, gates, or MyQ lights. Current replacements are the L993M (replaces 893MAX) and L932M (replaces 890MAX). Those newer remotes are not for green Learn openers.

Compatible LiftMaster and Chamberlain operators: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears, and Craftsman openers manufactured since January 1993 with a green, red/orange, purple, or yellow Learn button. Also used with 315 MHz LiftMaster and Elite gate operators.

Replaces these older LiftMaster remotes: 81LM, 82LM, 83LM, 971LM, 972LM, 973LM, 970LM, 370LM, 371LM, 373LM, and the matching Raynor models 81RGD, 83RGD, 971RGD, 972RGD, 973RGD, 970RGD, 370RGD, 371RGD, and 373RGD.
