81LM / 82LM / 83LM LiftMaster Remotes

The 81LM 1-button, 82LM, and 83LM 3-button remotes are Billion Code / 390 MHz remotes. They work with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, and matching Raynor openers that have a green Learn button (about 1993 to 1997). They are the same radios as Raynor 81RGD, 82RGD, and 83RGD. All three LiftMaster models are discontinued. Current replacements include the Stinger 390LMPB1V-2 and the 893MAX. The download below is the instruction PDF.

Compatibility

LiftMaster 81LM remote — 81LM (discontinued)

LiftMaster 83LM remote — 83LM (discontinued)

Compatible LiftMaster and Chamberlain operators: Openers and receivers made about 1993 to 1997 with a green Learn button. Often found on 1200 Series LiftMaster openers. Receivers listed with these remotes: 320LM, 420LM, 520LM, and 620LM.

Replaces these older remotes: 81RGD, 82RGD, and 83RGD (same radios with Raynor printing). The 81LM, 82LM, and 83LM themselves are discontinued.

Current replacements: Stinger 390LMPB1V-2, LiftMaster L992U, and LiftMaster 893MAX.

Not every compatible opener or replacement remote is listed here. There is no photo on this page for the 82LM; it uses the same instructions as the 81LM and 83LM.
